​​Papaya is a naturally gifted nutraceutical plant. Root, stem, fruit, seeds and latex have their own nutraceutical properties. Do you know that enzyme papaine, commonly used as meat tenderizer, can be obtained from the unripe papaya skin? Its leaves are well-known to be used for treatment of dengue fever.   

Traditional uses:
